Possible to loop a sequence from any point?
« on: August 13, 2015, 12:39:18 pm »
Hey!

Can't seem to find this in the manual or videos online. I know that I can shorten a sequence using the Last step button, but it always starts from the first note. IS it possible to select another part of the sequence to loop? For instance if I wanted to loop step 4 to 8.

Also is it possible to shift the notes in a sequence backwards or forwards?

Hi Chymera,
It's not possible to choose the first step of the sequence. It always begins with the first step (whatever the last step is). Shifting a sequence is also not possible.

@Valentin

I would really love sequence shifting to be implemented with some key combination, it's very useful to correct mistakes and find alternate grooves.

Hi,
You're not the first and surely not the last asking for that feature. I also think that this one could be really nice and creative but as the BSP is not infinitely extensible we have to consider different features to make the good choice.
