BSP Question on sequence length
« on: July 24, 2015, 09:07:55 pm »
Hi Just got my BSP
and after playing around for a few hours I have a couple of questions

1.) After adjusting the length of the sequence to 64 steps. How Can you adjust it back to say 48 32 16 steps while its playing.?

I have used the last step button and this works on 16 steps down to 1.
But if the sequence is longer than 16 steps what do you have to do

2.) How do you make the drum pads correspond with the pads on sparkle.?

I have got it working with sparkle, but the pads don't match up

3.) why after a full reset is the swing setting on 50.?

I have tried to change this in the  MMC but it wont let you go lower than 50. but the random and probability lets you go down to zero

cheers

HI.
1. to use less steps if your on more than 16 is to press last step button and a white light flashes ,use the << key while holding last step .then when you want to stop still hold down last step and press a step which will turn green.

2. in the mcc change drum map to spark

3. this is normal and how arturia designed the bsp . the swing value is from 50 to 75%

regards

Cheers Terrym

only 1 more question

will you be doing a tutorial on how to set the BSP up with BITWIG
I have sort of got it working with a script someone did
it lets you split the midi channels up for 1 and 2 and 10
but I cant get the transpose working via my midi keyboard only the BSP pads
cheers

Hi Terry

Cheers  that worked   now I have all 3 separate midi channels working on the BSP
and now my keyboard is able to  transpose as well

I am sure there will be a proper script  for the BSP from arturia soon
but until then I am a happy bunny
