BitWig
« on: July 18, 2015, 11:39:11 pm »
Hi there,

i am able to run BSP stand alone and in logic X.
So i can confirm it works as expected and it is up to date.
In BitWig 1.1.9 however it locks up the MIDI bus.
My KeyLab is not working anymore, neither is the SparkLE.
I can not add devices or scan.
Only a reboot clears the path, then the SparkLE and KeyLab run fine again.
As soon as i power the BSP it locks up again.

Same problem here. Updated to the new firmware but that won't be the issue here. I'm using the latest version of Bitwig, 1.1.10, on a mac, the latest version of Yosemite.

Any time the Midi Control Centre software is launched the midi bus locks up. In Bitwig prferences, the Controller section becomes unoperable.

I've also got a Nektar Panorama P4 and it doesn't like it either.

Hope this gets fixed. The software really opens up the BSP.

Hi I am on BitWig 1.1.10 with win 7 64 bit

and I have BSP BS Spark 2 and keylab 25 all working perfectly

I am using a script that lets you have 3 separate midi ins with the BSP
2 for sequences  on mid 1 and mid 2 and 1 for drums on mid 10

I am attaching the script just in case any body wants it

PS:  I don't think you can use the MCC while Bitwig is running  you have to do all your BSP settings
before you run BitWig

By the way.. the BSP control script has a new home on Github now, and it's been improved a little. Autodetect should work now, mapping of knobs/buttons in Control Mode  is fixed, too.  Plus, there's two versions now: the simple one with only standard inputs S1, S2, DRUM and OMNI/ALL, and one with all channels. (Autodetection is enabled for the simple version only).

Bitwig has yet to approve the script, so it gets listed on the community page. But so far..  ;)
