issues with firmware update
« on: July 11, 2015, 01:49:49 am »
Is anyone having problems updating the firmware. Everytime I try it keeps telling me to turn the unit off and on but it doesn't update.

I tried following the instructions in the firmware update FAQ but the Beatstep Pro isn't showing up in Audio Midi Set up.

Fresh out of the box, try to update.. Update via midi center, says completed with out error, BSP screen says ERR?

No function works.

Followed all instructions.

On OSX after deleating the false devise is AMC and unplugging the device . When MCC asks you to turn off the device and the turn it on again .... I powered it back up holding down the three transport buttons forcing it in to upgrade mode . This worked .
Otherwise MMC ALWAYS said failed to open device on the reboot .
