I'm assuming this has been posted back to Kevin et al at Arturia so they can look at it and see what's up.

@ mixalis

I'm assuming you know this, but the point of Apha & Beta testing is to pick up these little things that slip through the net :)

One more thing that you should look out now that the update is close, is that every time i create a new project Spark creates a new copy of the instruments i choose to use in my project, even if i dont say so!

I end up having many instruments exacly the same with different numbers at the end 1, 2 ,3

Thank you

The old library was easier to manage in this respect. It had its own problems, but at least you could clean up this particular problem much more easily.

Hi, have you tried deleting any projects you don't use in the library and this will reduce the number of empty projects and instruments filling up your library

regards

Hi terrym... I dont want to delete any of my current projects..

I am just saying that a copy of the instruments is not necessary to happen by default..

There's just a specific way that you need to create and name new projects in Spark in order to eliminate the erroneous copies. Terry is pointing out that once you have saved as, you can delete the unwanted copies.

Is there any plan of actually making a steady version of spark?

What do you mean by steady? No crashes in standalone or DAW, or something else?

My problem is not getting the external hardware to connect and getting the irritating message about MIDI ports needing to be deallocated (they all are, and it still won't work). If there was any change in Spark that would interest me, it'd be a stable and reliable connection to the hardware, whether by writing a bespoke driver rather than relying on Windows drivers (seems unwise to me to rely on something made by Microsoft to remain the same), or by forcibly taking over whatever ports it has a problem with.

Having a reliable connection to the hardware is key to the way this device should work, so my hopes are for a more solid interface as part of any new version.

Hi Stuart..Can you explain to me the specific way of getting this right?

Also there are 2 folders on the library - instruments- under the type selection that appeared and i did not create them..how can i delete them?

I'm fully aware that different synths are under different projects and therefore managed by different teams at Arturia, but another update to software synths which first appeared in 1999 and Spark is still waiting for updates that really should have been addressed in the last ,amor release.

Kevin, Adrien... Please could you give insight on when you expect updates to be released. I have asked the appropriate people to be part of beta testing but have yet to receive anything.

Spark is in danger of being forgotten about - I have since had a to move to another drum program in the meantime as I have work to complete and updates are less than forthcoming

Thanks, Stuart
