External Midi Clock and Shuffle
« on: February 08, 2015, 07:01:44 am »
I finally got around to trying external midi clock applied to the Spark controller. It appears that shuffle doesn't work. I had read about issues with this in the past, but assumed like an idiot that this had been fixed at some point between the original posts (2011) and now. Is there any solution to this problem? I can't run the Spark and Beatstep at the same time on any of my machines if they both are running off USB or I get power surges. I've been powering the Beatstep with a cellphone charger and having the Spark slave to it. A beatbox without a shuffle function sounds sad. Any workaround that is not a suggestion that setting shuffle to zero is the solution would be appreciated. Thanks.
I don't know why I still own this thing. I bought it because it's roughly equivalent to a poor man's Machinedrum...but I'd honestly rather just go back to 100% analog drums and not have my expectations constantly diminished.
