Difference between Analog Lab and V Collection
« on: January 04, 2015, 02:25:07 am »
Hi there, I recently purchased an Analog Experience 61 The Laboratory.
The software which came with it I am assuming is what is listed on the website as Analog Lab

Recently I received an email from Arturia offering me a reduced price for the V Collection software.
So I am wondering what are the differences (they both seem to have the same synths included) and is it worth me upgrading/purchasing V Collection?

Thanks

Terrym

Hi the analog lab that comes with the new vcol4  is kind of the updated version of your  AL that came with your keyboard. but if you get the vcol4 you can make new patches with actual plugins  within analog lab unto 2 plugins at a time . your keyboard will work with the new AL. the only thing is if you want to use your old software you need to keep the elicence  on your computer as there is no upgrade to the new ASC software needed to run vcol4 .

hope this helps
