Is there a way to stop the sound in Analog Lab?
« on: December 26, 2014, 12:42:49 pm »
Is there a way to stop the sound in Analog Lab without muting in very unnaturally in the DAW?
Some patches keep running indefinitely after they are played and the panic button has no effect on this.
This is very annoying as this makes it basically impossible to make sounds arise from silence.

For instance the patch Hanger47 from the ARP2600 in Analog Lab never stops once a note is played.

I hope a solution will arise soon, or that I just missed a simple function.

All the best!

edit:
I use Ableton 9

Hmmm...this sounds familiar. Have you tried sliding down the sustain and see what happens when you turn it up again?

Hey Thanks for your fast reply!
I tried that but it made no difference, same for Release. Moreover, Analog Lab does not always allow access to all the Sustains and Releases that are used in the background.
Do you have the same problem with the example I gave?

Okay, how about this: Set the value of the Param 1 rotary knob to zero. That way the sound will no longer ring on endlessly.
By the way, I quite like this sound! Very moody. Good for ambient stuff.
