Just got BeatStep today. Went to website and got latest FW 1.1.0.0 and Midi Control Center. Flash the BeatStep to 1.1.0.0. The factory default notes were set/stored and displayed, but both MCC Midi Console and MidiOx confirm that the device is sending other values (9 semitones higher). So, I needed to go an reprogram the notes starting from D#0 instead of C1 to work in Ableton drum rack correctly.

How did this pass V&V?

You can transpose in CNTRL mode as of 1.1.0 so perhaps you just have it offset?

Transpose pads with Controller in CNTRL mode It's now possible to transpose pads
in CNTRL mode, using Shift + big knob, on a +/-24 half steps range.

"Overall Transpose" is 0. Are you refering to something else?

Ok, I think this may have just happened as a result of holding shift in CNTRL mode and turning the big knob. The app doesn't clearly reflect that transpose to the user.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to and yes, the lack of feedback is a pain point.
