See This vid on youtube. Transposing with minibrute Kb. Just using cv/Gate connections. No midi, no pc or Mac in sight. I'll try and let you guys know (need to buy those cv/gate cables first...)

all that just to transpose a sequence on a keyboard? crazy. why are they making you jump through hoops and spend extra money to achieve something so basic?

I am using Beatstep on ipad,  I have the transpose working by using Akai LPK 25,  it has a latch function and costs about £30,  all you need to do is route midi out from LPK to midi in (via USB) on Beatstep.

To understand the transpose combinations the following rule of thumb will help.
If you always program your sequence in a key of C,  it will always get transposed to whatever is the lowest note you are playing in your sequencer track. ;D

Another question

when controlling transpose inside my daw via my midi keyboard. it all works fine
but there does not seem a way to make it latch. am I missing something or will this be a new feature soon ?
