Recording SparkLE sequencer in realtime with cubase artist 7
« on: March 19, 2014, 11:50:23 pm »
I used this link to setup cubase midi recording http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmGecLQJd_c
now I can use cubase to record midi from spark pads by manually hitting pads, but not from sequencer (i.e. any beats pre-programmed into SparkLE)
So the question is: How do I record from sequencing in real time? I want to be able to press record in cubase and then press play on SparkLE and have it record  from the banks and patterns in realtime.
In SparkLE preferences menu, I did select Yes on Send midi from sequencers
Whats next, what else do I need to do to enable real time midi recording from the SparkLE beats, user and factory?
Such a cool little machine! I cant wait to get recording, I could use a tap tempo though...
Thanks, any help or comments are appreciated!
