Sound Packs and other user packs
« on: August 10, 2012, 01:39:50 am »
Hey guys,

New to this thing, I downloaded the sound packs, the ones on this site. I installed them however I dont think they appear in Spark.

Is their a special way to import soundpacks and sounds from other users?
Thank you

25 views and not one reply?

It is either a stupid question or it really is that difficult to locate where I need to install the sound pacls or presets from other users on A Mac.

I downloaded the expansion packs on this site and I swear and I cant see them in Spark?

You probably have Spark VDM and not Spark CDM.

Unfortunately the expansion packs do not work in VDM and are designed solely for use in CDM (I have  Spark VDM and made the same mistake and downloaded one of the expansion packs).

What does it make mine- controller plus software using a Mac? I thought expansion packs were possibile?
On that note how I could use another users presets from this website?

They don't necessarily show up as "French Touch vol. 2", but rather as the sets included inside.  For example, if you download the above, you'll get "Heavy Cross" and "Uppercut" listed in your factory projects.

Does that help?

It's been a while since I did it, but if you need to upload a user's presets, you can select what you want from the Library at the bottom by going to "upload to library."

Hopefully that helps!

By the way, this is from the CDM (controller version).
