Classic MiniMg sounds
« on: August 22, 2004, 09:56:09 am »
I've been trying to recreate some classic MiniMg leads, but not been very successful. I know the MMV is up for it, I'm just not good enough at it, yet. Is there anywhere one can find examples (parameter values) of MiniMg programs that have been used in popular songs from the '70s or '80s?

This may not be exactly what you want, but the following web site:

http://www.fantasyjackpalance.com/fjp/sound/synth/synthdata/16-Mg-miniMg.html

has the sound charts which came with the miniMg. There are a couple in there from Keith Emerson and then many others which are probably a good starting point.

Have you tried some of the New MiniMgV (Free) presets Arturia posted?
I made a few, they are mostly for Hip-Hop, Rap and R&B but you might find some good starting points.
