Origin and Logic routing issue
« on: June 07, 2012, 08:51:36 am »
Hello Guys,

I know this is a kind of newbie question but i have the following issue.
Until now i was using the arturia on a audio way (meaning the master out of Arturia was linked to my Apogee Ensemble with audio cable). This was definitely fine.
But now, i need to use it as a Midi device. The Arturia is identified as a midi device in midi audio configuration so that's fine. (using the USB connection). I'm on mac OS X 10.6.8 and i'm using logic.
So in Logic, using the external midi track, i'm able to hear Arturia but (and now i'm sure, you're laughing right now :D) when i try to bounce a track, nothing happens. I definitely now that this is a routing or wire issue (maybe both) but i have no clue to solve this right now.

Could someone help me on this topic ?
Thanks a lot guys and enjoy music  ;D

Cheers,
Massatt

You are only recording midi info that are played back by the origin audio jacks. You need to record the audio too as you made earlier it seems. You can not bounce an external midi instruments, only vst and audio tracks. But it's great to record midi too along with audio so that you have a back up that can be modified later.
