Analog Factory 2 installation hangs

I'm trying to instal Analog Factory 2 as part of the 10 Year Suite. I've followed the instructions, installing Brass, Prophet-V and Jupiter-8V first, but when I try to instal Analog Factory it gets through the Writing files phase but then hangs on the Running package scripts bit. I have downloaded the latest update and tried installing that, both with and without the original CD loaded but no joy.
The instructions say not to plug in the dongle until after installation so I haven't.
I am running OS X 10.6.2 on an iMac with a 2.8GHz Intel Core Duo processor and 4GB of RAM.

You can safely delete these files:

System/Library/Receipts/Analog Factory.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/eLicenserControl.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/LCC.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/NOS.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/POS.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/SyncrosoftLicenseControl.pkg

Then reinstall from the latest updates, in this strict order:
1. Analog Factory
2. eLicenser Control Center

This is applicable for any other synth if some lock occurs during installation.

My Analog Factory 2 installation hanged too.

But the files listed above:

System/Library/Receipts/Analog Factory.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/eLicenserControl.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/LCC.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/NOS.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/POS.pkg
System/Library/Receipts/SyncrosoftLicenseControl.pkg

is nowhere to be found on my system. Not in the System folder, where receipts never go, and nowhere else either. My Analog Factory installed after force-quitting, restarting and downloading the update anyway, but now the MiniMg-V installation hangs and nothing helps...

...but just now, at the third attempt and after a really long wait, the MiniMg-V installed as well...
