System Help
« on: September 04, 2009, 02:38:47 am »
Hi,

I am getting back into playing keyboards again after 15 years of not playing (marriage, kids, work, etc...) and I am interested in Analog Factory Experience, but I haven't kept up with keyboard/software technology.  I know that I will need a computer to use the Analog Factory Experience, but how do I get the sounds from the computer into my mixer?  Is it as easy as the computer audio output, or is there some other way of doing it?

Sorry if this is an easy question, but I want to make sure I don't need another piece of electronics to make it work.

Thanks

Kevin

Yes, you can use the computer's audio output.
Depending on the computer, the built-in audio does not always use good quality D/A converter, and you could get a better sound by using an optional audio interface with better D/A converters.
