What's your view on the Motion Recorder?
« on: July 15, 2009, 06:12:11 am »
Hi there. ;)  Has anyone found the Motion Recorder useful?  Doing a search on the forums here shows that it has had the briefest of mentions twice.  i have found it very frustrating to use.  First thing, I have found no way of creating an envelope that will loop perfectly in sync with my host's sequencer.  If by chance you do manage to do this (I think this is impossible),  if you then change the tempo of your host the envelope loop will be out of sync again as the envelope speed cannot be synced to your host (unlike the LFO can, for example).   Secondly, I managed to record one curve onto the first slot but cannot record anymore curves onto any of the other slots.  Thirdly, I cannot record over the first slot.

The Motion Recorder seems to be a wasted opportunity to me. :(

I am using MiniMg V2.0.1 in Cubase5 on an Intel i7 PC.
