Jupiter crashes logic
« on: May 27, 2009, 08:08:53 pm »
Hi,

After many mails I send to arturia still no answer.
When I go thru the presets in jupiter it crashes logic all the time.
It's f**ing annoying and I want to solve this problem.
Anyone has the same problem like I do?
Sorry arturia. But the support is terrible.

We have had long correspondence, last mail I sent you was the 3rd of March 2009. No reply from you, I deduced problem was solved. Wasn't it the case?

Hi antoine,

I send you an email the 19th of may.
I recently bought a new mac pro quad core with 8GB of ram.
Still the same problem with the jupiter 8. It still crashes logic when I go thru the presets of the jupiter.
In my last mail a few months ago I asked you if I it's possible that I send back this jupiter and you send me another jupiter.
But you didn't answers my question.
So how can we solve this?
Jupiter has passed the AU validation test but still crashes logic al the time
Best Regards

Hi antoine,

It looks like in stand alone mode it works fine.
But in logic not.

Same deal here.  Just bought JP8V and it crashes in Logic and in stand alone mode.  Seems like clicking the 6th to 7th preset does it for me everytime:

Same issue here, intermittent crashes when changing presets. Sometimes it works fine, usually it crashes logic.

For me the crashes have all occurred when I changed the preset using the preset drop down menu at the top of the compact Jupiter-8V screen. It is stable if I change presets in Presets Tab in the expanded window version.

Issue occurs in Logic Pro 8.0.1, Logic Pro 8.0.2 and Logic Pro 9.0.0.

iMac 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM; Motu 828mkII; Mackie Control Universal; Logic Pro 9

I have noticed this problem with other arturia plugs as well, e.g. really bad with analog factory. Stability is not something I think that arturia has worked out yet, I've always had issues.

Hi,

I thought I'd leave a reply here just in case any of you have sorted this problem. I'm also suffering with crashes in Logic caused by Arturia software, Jupiter, Analog Lab and Mg Modular seem to be the worst offenders.

If anyone has got it sorted would you reply to this thread if possible?

Thanks
