Backup/multiple license key?
« on: March 16, 2009, 06:20:22 am »
I havent seen this specific question asked...apologies if i have missed it..

Just wondering about the possibility of getting more than one usb key..I'm intending on using AFE both at home and live on a laptop, and given things can go awry for the most careful of us (could get damaged/lost etc), can you purchase more than one key per license, for the purpose of a backup?

Thanks for reading...

Thanks for the reply Antoine. I've emailed them twice, so not sure what is happening there.

Slightly related question......there are places that sell the generic synchrosoft keys (ones that work with Cubase for example), would one of these be ok to put the AFE licence onto? Or do you need to buy one speficially set up for AF?

Arturia, Steinberg, Korg, etc... whatever the brand, as long as it is Syncrosoft USB-eLicenser type.
Don't confuse with concurrent cryptographic devices (iLok, Nalpeiron) which are not compatible (i.e. you cannot transfer licenses from one device type to the other).
