Which Power Supply for AFE? 9 V or 12 V?
« on: February 27, 2009, 02:20:25 pm »
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has already discovered the answer to this simple problem.  The Arturia website says 9V DC and the manual says 12V DC 1500mA (center positive).  I could not find the answer to this problem anywhere on these forums.

Thanks in advance!

12V is better, and 500mA is more than enough.
Damn, 2 typos.  :-\

Thanks for the super fast response!  Also, will you verify that the power supply should be center positive (as depicted in the manual)?  I know that if I accidentally use a center negative power supply, it will fry the electronics in the AFE.

You guys are great!

I am using a 12V, 800mA power supply which is working great!

Thanks for all the help!
