Don't init AF on Freeze-Tracks
« on: January 01, 2007, 05:46:11 pm »
Hello dear folks at Arturia!

There's exactly one big wish I'd have for another AF update:

If a track in the host program is frozen (that is, temporarily rendered to an audio file to save CPU), please DO NOT INITIALISE the AF instance on this track.

Other software instruments refrain from initialising on frozen tracks; they do it only when the track is unfrozen. I am quite certain AF could do the same.

That would make the excrutiatingly long loading times in projects with several AF instances much less painful.

PLEASE??? :-)
