Jupiter8 factory patches
« on: March 13, 2013, 08:30:38 am »
Hi!

I just spent some time programming the 64 factory patches from the Jupiter 8 into 8V.
Available here
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/jupiter-8v-by-arturia/downloads

I have been using the Roland Jupiter-8 Factory patch sheets.pdf for visual reference, and sound clips of the real Jupiter 8 from synthmania.com to compare the sounds.
Also, Some of the patches are based on patches originally made by pedrosura from the Arturia Forums, so thanks for those.

I'm quite happy with most of the patches, but I was really struggling with some of the sounds using cross modulation and/or random LFO. I just couldn't ge them to sound right. For example the "sample and hold brass" and the FX sounds like Junglebeasts, birds etc.
Any help with improving these would be appreciated.

Just to let you know, I'm currently re-saving these within Cubase as VST presets, the better to be able access them in production.  Excellent work, much appreciated.
