controlling sequencer tempo using cubase
« on: November 18, 2013, 01:46:46 pm »
I'm very very happy with my new synth so far but I'm really looking to know how to control the sequencer tempo using cubase, can anybody help?

you need to set it up to send midi clocks via USB . I'm sure you'll find how do it on the web

thanks Bruno. I have tried the net and followed instructions but it's still not happening for me  :'(

the microbrute controls the vst instruments ok but I just can't cubase to control the speed of the sequencer. also, when i open cubase it puts the sequencer to "gate" mode so it becomes silent til I close cubase.

if anybody can give me some advice it would be  much appreciated

please check in the Connection software that Sync parameter is not set to "Int". It would ignore the incoming midi clock.
By the way provided midi clocks should be at least 31bpm, to be properly handled.

are you sure it's gate mode,  does it steps when you hit Tap tempo, or nothing happends?
