external power supply?
« on: October 28, 2013, 03:35:33 pm »
Hello!

Has anyone had any luck finding an external power supply to power the Keylab 49? I bought a 12v 500mA center postive adapter (as specified on the website here: http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/analog-factory-experience/specs.html.

The keyboard turned on but the screen was checkered and none of the pads/knobs were functional. We have used the usb connection successfully with ableton so we know that the keyboard is working.

Any advice on where to get the right power supply?

Thanks!

Tim C

I was surprised by the lack of response as I had the same question, but finally came upon this useful knowledge base reference:

 http://www.arturia.com/evolution/kb/?View=entry&EntryID=183

Bottom lime, the AC power supply required is 5V 500mA 5.5mm outer diameter by 2.1mm inner diameter x 12mm depth.
