Spar LE Midi control center

Hi after installing the update 1.7.1  spark LE midi controller does not install
I get a short cut icon but it points to nowhere.  I tried the install a few times with both custom and full install with all boxes ticked. but it still does not install
Only the Spark midi controller installs  any advise or help please
