Is V Collection License for lifetime?
« on: November 27, 2019, 06:20:04 am »
Hi all,

Am looking to buy the V Collection 7 today on offer, but I happened to come across a post on Facebook Arturia page, regarding the license, one person mentioned: 'License can only uses few time its not lifetime', does that mean the 5 license are per computer or per year? Is the license/serial key given for V collection is for lifetime access?  ???

Hi,

You have posted in eLicenser forum.  Arturia does'nt use eLicnser anymore. You activate Arturias software through Arturia Software Center. Only software older than V-Collection 4 used eLicenser.

The info you have from Facebook is wrong.

You can activate the software on up to 5 computers at a time. You can deactivate a locense on a computer and use it on another, if in example you get a new computer.

The licenses is today not something that run out for the software you buy now. But for new software and perhaps major upgrades of old applications will or can cost a upgrade price. But you can still use the software if you don't upgrade, as long as it can run on the computers OS.
