Intel Duo Mac Support. Most important update?
« on: May 19, 2006, 06:51:59 pm »
I have spent 2k on upgrading to an Intel based MAC, MOTU Ultralite, Novation LE controller and invested in CS80-V, ARP2600V, MiniMg V and Mg Modular 2 V. :p

I really want to get on and start writing music but the plugins cause the CPU to max out and the standalone versions crash out alot.

Please can we see a possible time frame for release?

It is certainly a major issue if they want to ensure their product still interesting for us and any new buyer... Right now I'm searching for some alternative to my Mini Mg, I won'T wait anothher 6 month before I sell it on eBay.

No announcements in months concerning this, seems Arturia give up support for existing softwares...

It is what he actually told you?

It would be nice having a comment or something regarding this issue. Cubase 4 is coming this fall with Intel Mac support, Native instruments have very official announcements with target dates for every single synths in their collection. Applied accoustic is making announcements as well (absolutely wonderfull synths BTW). If MiniMg is not updated by then I'll just stop using it and sell it on eBay or something...

Universal Binary updates...
« Reply #6 on: September 08, 2006, 03:54:32 pm »
here's the email the guy sent me:

Hello
Only Brass, Prophet V and Analog Factory are Mac Intel compatible at the moment.  We plan to release the other updates for the new mac intel series quite soon.  These updates will be free.  The release date is not known yet (ARP and miniMg should be released in september or october).  All the products, except Storm, are concerned.
Best Regards
Cedric

if i can't get this update soon, i'll just have to ebay my copy as well.  made the mistake of buying it before researching whether it was intel-mac compatible.  alas.

Ive got to agree with others that this update is way overdue.
I'm actually waiting for it to come out before i part with any money,
but at this rate i too will be looking for an alternative.
to delay a product is one thing, but to leave your customers in the dark over it stinks.
