Presets for MAC OS vs WIN
« on: March 04, 2023, 12:21:24 am »
Yes, I searched and there was no answer.  I have presets on my pc that I want to transfer to my MAC, PC uses document files and MAC OS uses UNIX.  Can I convert these?  Is there a program or somewhat simple way to do so with terminal?  Thanks!

Hello mattsbook80,
Don't worry all presets are compatible mac or win.
simply use the export feature to export your banks or individual presets from your windows computer, then import them on your mac.
All should work as expected.
Cheers!

Hello mattsbook80
When exporting, the files exported should be a .labx
It should be exactly the same on mac or windows.
When importing, make sure to select the .labx containing your exported bank/presets
I don't understand what you mean by "why does my mac not recognize them?  do i need to export them as something else?  "
Please give more info.
Also if you are still struggling i recommend sending a message to : https://www.arturia.com/support/askforhelp
Hope that helps.
