For example.  I've got a sequence.  First note has a length of 3 steps.  On the second step I "step record" a filter cutoff to value x.  One the third step I "step record" the filter cutoff to value y.  I'd like the filter change to be instant.  However, when the sequence is played it ends up being a smooth transition (a sweep).

The only way I've found to get instant filter cutoff changes is using the ribbon controller, and then that's only live.  If that is recorded in a sequence, the ribbon changes are smoothed.

I've looked for a setting for this.  Anyone aware of how to accomplish this?

Thanks!
Tim

I agree, this really limit the sequencer imo.
I've made a request for an option to turn of "slew" no interpolation.
