Complete blank patch?
« on: January 31, 2023, 01:46:12 pm »
A simple request for help on creating a completely blank patch.
I use blank patches during a set when I'm using the keybed as a MIDI Controller playing some other synth or VST.
When I use INIT on the MiniFreak, then turn down the OSC volumes, there are still thuds, or VU jumps.
I played with the Filter and Envelopes to help eliminate them without any success.
Is it possible to create a completely blank/silent patch?
Thank you in advance.

Envelope Attack, Decay and Release to max should ensure the softest possible output. Attack at lowest setting will always make a tiny sound.

I get rid of the thud and meter jumps here by maxing the Envelope times.
