Keylab MK2 and Numa X Piano GT
« on: January 31, 2023, 10:09:03 am »
I'm planning on getting a Studiologic Numa X Piano GT and a 61-key Arturia Keylab Mk2 for my small home studio.

I know a bit about MIDI but I still have a question: suppose I want to play a sample from the Arturia library, say V-Piano, on the Numa, will I still be able to able to control the parameters of the sample on the Keylab while playing the sample on the Numa, either standalone or in a DAW ?

First of all, i dont have a keylab. But I have the Numa x piano. The Numa has its own Soundlibrary, means you can not install a softwaresynth like V-Piano on it. So the standalone thing doesnt work. If you use the DAW for the V-Piano it should be possible to control the parameter with the keylab. I have a small controller and it works. But you have to set it up in your DAW -> Controller for parameters, piano for notes otherwise it will all mess up. Seems like the keylab is ready for the "only" controller thing by pressing a button.
