Buchla Easel Tutoral Midi Mapping is incorrect
« on: January 03, 2023, 10:59:47 pm »
Seems to be some double midi mapping in the tutorial, an example is in the 'how patching works' and 'Modulators' lesson 1. When the pitch wheel goes into negative values the 'Modulation' switch on the modulation oscillator turns off and on creating a pop.

Hello,

Which excact version of Buchla V do you use?
Are you fully updated?

What do you mean by "Incorrect midi mapping "?

When the pitch wheel goes into negative values the 'Modulation' switch on the modulation oscillator turns off and on creating a pop.
Have you assigned your Pitch Bend to the Modulation Switch in the mod osc?
The switch does click when you change the position. Is that the issue?

I don't understand what you mean by this. Please provide an explicit example.

Thanks for the response LBH (both posts)

I did a clean install and the problem was fixed, I think you were on to something with a odd midi routing of my own was causing the issue.
