Signal distortion at 0 dB in AudioFuse Studio
« on: December 12, 2022, 06:13:56 pm »
Hi!

Who has AudioFuse Studio ? I want to ask for something.

I record audio from a website in Reaper. In Reaper, the recording comes from the LOOPBACK channel of AudioFuse Studio. In the computer, the sound is sent to the USB channel of AudioFuse Studio. So, if the volume level of an audio file at 0 dB or above, then the Reaper receives distorted sound from the AudioFuse Studio. Does anyone else also have it?

Hi
just did a little test here in cubase 12 with AFS and my levels are ok, sounds like you may be getting a double feed somehow so check your settings

Could you playback audio file from attachment, record in Cubase and check signal form ? Is it a smooth sine wave ?
