Canīt use Arp mode when controlling a Korg Volca Keys
« on: October 28, 2022, 10:48:47 am »
Hi all,
I use the keystep to control my korg volca keys and it works ok, but when I want to try the Arp mode, I hit the play button in my keystep and it start the sequence recorded in my volca. Itīs there a way to set the keystep to only control the sequence of the volca when in Seq mode? Or do I have to erase the sequence in my volca in order to use the Arp mode in keystep? Highly appreciate if someone can help me out with this.

This is actually a Volca setting - see this video for the fix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkwUkm8NPP8

Turn off the Volca, then hold down the FUNC button while powering on. You should see some keys light up, including number 6. Press the 6th key so the light is disabled and then save by pressing the record button. It should stop automatically triggering the sequencer after that.
