Scale mode and audio input
« on: November 09, 2022, 12:23:19 pm »
Hello,

Just wondering what your able to do with the audio input on the microfreak? Haven't been able to find much information about it but im intriuged to what you can do.

Also, does anyone know how you program user scales into the Microfreak? Just wondering if it's simular to the beatstep where you have to asign the notes from a computer or can you do it straight on the Microfreak?

Cheers.

Yes, this one is the Mini - a bit bigger than the Micro  :D

The audio input in oscillator 1 can be processed by the oscillator 2 algorithms which are made to process oscillator 1, i.e. i.e. various filters, FM/RM and a Destroyer (digital mangler). Then there's the FX section which will affect it too.

The user scale can be entered straight on the MiniFreak. Every preset can have its own user defined scale.
