Having the audio input envelope as a modulation source in the matix would be so useful to do external audio processing + layering of synthesis in an interactive way.
This is one of my favorite use of the classic Dave Smith Evolver, which to me the microfreak is the spiritual crazy libre-penseur spiritual child of the the 2020s. Pleaaase!
