digital gain effect for low volume presets
« on: October 04, 2022, 01:02:17 am »
It's great how much gain staging on the PolyBrute allows us to mimic other synthesizers with less flexible control and re-create their presets, but there are many cases where the levels end up being far lower than what I'd call convenient for recording or levelling out presets that are part of a live set.  I'm aware of the preset volume, but that seems more like just a limiter that doesn't quite always go far enough.

Thanks to the wonderfully transparent digital effects on PolyBrute, it would be nice to have a utility effect to boost the gain of these kinds of sounds beyond what the internal analog summing can sometimes provide.

yes, I was thinking about something similar.
What about a digital and gentile "Maximizer"? - pulling weak sounds to a certain nice level - NO NEED for  "pump"-functionality, please....
Should not be part of the Modulation Type (right hand side) but the EQ settings (Intensity dial with having Settings pressed)
