Disable MIDI when using CV/Gate
« on: October 02, 2022, 09:39:55 am »
I think this is an old problem but I'm posting in case anything has changed on the topic. I'm using sequencer 2 with an old synth over CV/Gate. But sequencer 2 still outputs MIDI NOTE messages even though these are evidently not needed since I'm using CV/Gate. With another synth connected and using the channel associated with sequencer 2, it plays the same notes as the vintage synth which I do not want. Yes, I can and have changed the sequencer 2 MIDI channel to an unused (by my synths) channel but this does seem like a clumsy workaround. Is it really not possible to disable MIDI output when a sequencer is used with CV/Gate?

what the hell is a mmMidi...?

I also want to grab the Seq1/Seq2 velo/gate signal by midi - does it work by using the midi cable instead the usb?
