I ran into this issue while trying to use the Keystep37 to control a daw over USB Midi:
I set up the keystep to output on two separate midi channels (User (shift + Channel key) and keyboard play (shift + oct+ + channel key) ).
Expected result
whenever I press a key on the keyboard, the information is put out on channel "Keyboard Play", regardless of the playback state of the sequencer
Actual result
If the sequencer is running, my keypresses are sent to channel "keyboard Play"; the output of the sequencer is sent to channel "user". If the sequencer is not running, my keypresses are sent to channel "User"
