Connecting the KSP to microfreak and volca sample
« on: September 08, 2022, 11:24:20 pm »
Hi.
I need help.

I would like to control my microfreak and volca sample from my keystep pro. How to I go about it?

I usually had it linked to my computer so I've not tried it with other gear and I can't work it out. Simple probably. Just like me

Get two MIDI cables. MIDI Out 1 from KSP to MIDI In on your microfreak (use the MIDI 5-pin to 1/8" adapter that came with your microfreak), and MIDI Out 2 to MIDI In on your Volca. Then you'll just need to make sure you have your MIDI channels set up correctly on your tracks. Probably need to do a bit of manual reading. Good luck. It's pretty easy.
