Filter M12, Pan knob bug?
« on: September 03, 2022, 08:29:45 pm »
Hello,
Just got the FX collection today and I noticed a strange behavior when moving both Pan knobs in serial or parallel modes, which seem to to open the filter cutoffs as well. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Thanks.

Hi,

The PAN's determine how much the Filter A and B shall be applied to the left and to the right channel. So if you in example turn Filter A PAN fully to the left, the you will get the DRY/ Input signal unaffected in the Right Channel. So what you hear is just more and more of the DRY/ Input signal in the opposite channel to which you PAN.

I believe it's described in the manual.

Ah OK makes more sense now... I assumed these simply panned the filters' outputs. The aul' RTFM eh ?

Yes - does make sense.
