Just got my KeyLab Essential 61 and I find the keys a bit heavy when pressing compared to the other keyboards I have at home (Yamaha Modx6, Yamaha PSR e373 and iRig Keys Pro).

I know it is a matter of taste, but I think I like lighter touch.

My question is about KeyLab MKII (61) - are the keys lighter or heavier compared to KeyLab Essential (61). I am thinking about getting MKII if the keys would feel easier to press.

I don't have access to MKII (I bought the Essential from an online store), so I would really appreciate any info/opinion if you had experience with both keyboard lines.

Welcome.

i think they use the same keybed, other than the KeyLab MkII has aftertouch.
Order one from Amazon and exercise your right to return it if not satisfied.
