Arturia Vocoder V modwheel vibrato

Hi Forum this was Posted by u/N1n0_music on Reddit 2 years ago with no answers.
I couldn't have worded it better myself, so I'll just copy the post here.

"Might be the noobest question. But how do I assign the modwheel for vibrato? I set the destination of the modwheel to LFO, messed around the parameters but nothing is happening when I use the modwheel. I tried setting different destinations on the LFO but I'm getting different effects. I read the manual, but they just give you an overview on the whole modulation section."

I can't find any Info or tutorials on this subject, been searching for days. Any help out there.

Hi,

The procedure to let the Modwheel control the LFO amount is:
In the ASSIGN section select ModWheel as Source, select LFO Amplitude as Destination and set the Amount to 1.00 if you wan't the modwheel to work normal and to control the full amount.

In the LFO section select the needed parameters to be modulated and the modulation amount.
If you ie select the OSC frequencies, then you control the pitch of the OSCs.
Select CYCLE mode.
Also set other parameters like the modulation Waveform and the modulation rate.

You can also create Vibrato manually using the Pitch Bend. Or automate or modulate the Pitch bend in a DAW.

The result also depend on other settings.
Keep in mind, that it's not the dry sample/ voice signal it self that's modulated.

As an alternative you perhaps ie can use the CHORUS effect and control it's parameters the same way.
