Minifuse 2/4 with MPC One
« on: April 04, 2022, 07:03:17 pm »
Hi,

I am in the market for an audio interface for my MPC One and I am woundering if any one is using the minifuse 2, or rather the minifuse 4 when available. I guess they are basicly the same.

The real question is the function of the usb’s. Is it possible to connect the minifuse as an audio interface to the mpc through the usb-hubb port and the usb-c port to tje computer for multitrack recording in my daw?
Or do the mpc need the usb-c connection?

I'm not very familiar with the MPC One, but from what i gather is support class compliant USB audio Interfaces on the USB A port.

Thus the MiniFuse can potentially be used to expand the number of audio inputs/outputs on the MPC.

However, the MF can't be used to aggregate its own IO with the MPC IO. That is, you could connect the MPC to the USB A hub on the MF, and the MF by USB C to one of your your computer's USB A ports, but that would only result in the computer seeing the MPC and MF as separate units.
