Keylab Won't Control VCV Rack Devices?
« on: March 24, 2022, 03:32:09 pm »
I've gotten my Keylab to work as a MIDI controller in Live, but in VCV Rack and Supercollider, the device is recognized by the application, but twiddling a knob during pairing never produces a matching effect on screen.  This is frustrating because my Keylab worked fine with Rack when I was performing with it last year, but no more.

Please let me know if you've had control problems with the Keylab and worked it out, or if specifically you've used it in VCV successfully.  Thanks.

Hi,

If your Keylab can control other things, then it's not about your Keylab.

In this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd0EESJhPZA the first control is mapped by moving the hardware controller before clicking the parameter to be mapped for that control.

Also be sure the midi channels match it look like.

I don't use VCV Rack.
