Integrate Keystep features
« on: February 13, 2022, 06:39:42 pm »
I've been disappointed by how little functionality my Native Instruments S88 has when compared to my Keystep 37 when using non-NI software. Thus I checked out the Keylab 88 since I am considering switching 88-key controllers and assumed it would have many of the same functions as the Keystep. However, it appears to be more focused on DAW control and lacks sequencer and arp features, knobs for chords, etc. I realize that they're different product lines, but I really would love to have an 88-key controller which has all of the KeyStep 37 functionality. I guess it would make little sense for me to trade the NI S88 for a Keylab 88 MkII only to keep using a Keystep 37 when I am experimenting with new musical ideas. So, for now I am essentially just using the S88 for the keybed with a KeyStep 37 sitting on top for everything else.

So, Arturia, any hope of seeing this Keystep-like feature integration in a Mk3 Keylab 88? I'd be all over that :-D
