An insert version of the plugin that only shows the top half of Vocoder V.
Placed on the track in the DAW acting as the Modulator (e.g. vocals), you can route any other track in the sidechain input of the plugin to act as the Carrier (e.g. a synth).
This way you wouldn't be limited by the Carrier section of Vocoder V, and any source could act as the carrier (a guitar, synth, strings, choir, you name it).
Alternatively, the plugin could be inserted on the Carrier track and the Modulator track could be routed to the sidechain input, as I think there are still DAWs that only allow for a mono side-chain input.
