Pigments 3.2 consistently crashing Studio One
« on: December 01, 2021, 07:45:59 am »
The Subject says it all, really. I've got several Studio One songs that use Pigments, and up until now have never had a problem. But there have been some changes since I last opened and worked with these songs. I've updated to macOS 12.0.1 Monterey and Studio One 5.4.1. Now I cannot play a song containing Pigments as an instrument for more than 30 seconds without Studio One crashing to the desktop. Songs that do not make use of Pigments do not exhibit this problem. Does anyone think that there is any use in my opening a support ticket with Arturia and sending them the diagnostic dump and crash report from Studio One?

I have the same issue. Running Bitwig on a PC.
Pigments keeps crashing, luckily Bitwig has a Sandbox so I can reload the crashed plugin. Pain in the arse though.
Also seen someone having issues with Ableton.
I thought it was a PC issue but looks like it's Pigments itself.
I have updated to 3.5, same issue  ???

If that was the only conclusion, then we all should have Pigments crashing everything. At the moment, i only see a few reports about it.

It perhaps can be OS related. Or perhaps you need to update something.
Perhaps there is an issue, but then much more detailed info about OS, DAW and other things need to be posted to Arturia support.
If it is Pigments issue, then no user can help you.

If you are on Windows 11, then please read this: https://www.arturia.com/faq/utilization/compatibility-with-windows-11
Also check the same info for your version of Bitwig.

The same goes for the OP, in case the issue persist after updating all applications to versions compatible with the MAC OS.
