Hi,

I just installed V-Collection 8 on a new MacBook Pro (version 12.3) and there it uses around 22GB space with filesystem APFS.

To keep my system drive lean, I moved the whole collection to an external SSD hard drive (SanDisk Extreme, filesystem ExFat) and noticed that there it takes about 900 GB.

How is that possible?

It can see that the issue comes from the resources/bitmap/bmp directory, where each subdirectory, e.g. 60%, 80%, 100% uses 2.4 GB

Is this a known bug? How can I get around it?

Regards

Hello,

I think it's about ExFat. Not about V-Collection.
I'm a user here and not on MAC.

Hi,

Yes is seems like ExFat is the problem. Just moved the collection to another hard drive with Mac OS Extended filesystem and there the size is correct.

Will open a ticket with Arturia and report the result.

Regards

Great. Afaik It's not a V-Collection issue. It's about how Exfat work i think. But it's fine to ask Arturia.
