Entering a longer form in the K37
« on: October 06, 2021, 03:04:56 pm »
I bought the K37 a few days ago.
I probably don't master every function. Reading the manual, it seems you can only chain sequences manually with the sequence knob. Am I right? Can the sequences be set to change automatically?

The maximum steps in a sequence is 64. In a standard jazz form (eg. Just Friends) you have 32 bars.
A 16 bars form, with 4 beats each gives you a total 64 beats, which is ok for techno or blues.
For a 32 bars piece, the only workaround I found is to enter 2 beats a bar instead of four (two taps a bar in Step Mode) then set the tempo to half the speed (60 bpm for a 120 bpm tune).

It works well with K37 at 60 bpm (1/4 div) and Addictive Drums at 120. But am I missing something, an easier way to enter a 32 bars piece?
